Who Are We?

We’re Kendall and Max, this blog started the way most good things do: curiosity, restlessness, and a refusal to believe that the world is best experienced through lists and highlights alone. We’re less interested in ticking boxes and more interested in why a place feels the way it does – who’s pouring the wine, fixing the boats, opening the doors every morning.

I’m Kendall, the storyteller. I chase conversations, details, and the quiet moments that never make it into brochures. I write the stories, take the photos, and follow my curiosity wherever it leads, usually with a coffee or glass of wine in hand (depending on the time of day) and too many tabs open in my brain.

Max is the reason any of this actually works. He’s my assistant, the IT department, the web designer, the bookkeeper, the fixer of things that mysteriously break at the worst possible time. If OurTravitude runs smoothly, it’s because Max is behind the curtain making sure the lights stay on.

We met through travel, and it stuck. Not the postcard version, the real kind. The kind that teaches you patience, flexibility, and how to laugh when plans fall apart.

OurTravitude isn’t about perfection or pretending we’ve figured it all out. It’s about stories, people, and the belief that the best parts of travel usually happen somewhere between where you meant to go and where you end up.
